Joe is a photographer, a biologist and occasional blogger and writer. He spent 25 years living and working in South Africa and Zimbabwe. He and his wife are Certified International Tour Managers and they have escorted small group tours to the countries of southern Africa.

Joe prefers to print his images on canvas, without the confinement of the traditional frame, mat and glass.
