Håkan Carheden – mixed media, acrylic

Posted on October 10th, 2010 in Acrylics, Member Websites, Mixed Media

Håkan has always created art in different styles because he likes to explore new expressions. Growing up in Sweden has certainly influenced his style of art. Much of visual art in Scandinavia demonstrate simplicity. Håkan prefers uncomplicated art.

His website has three different galleries. The ANIMAL GALLERY is influenced by decades as a designer and art director. The RAINBOW GALLERY shows various experimental expressions. The WHITE GALLRY demonstrates where Håkan’s heart is. The art focuses on how light, shadows and different textures interact, most of the time with minimal colors. Found objects are often part of the creation. Most artwork is touchable with visually impaired people in mind.
