Robert works are in bronze and terra cotta. The relationship between humans and animals can be seen in a number of his works. In each piece, it is very important for him to focus on the smallest of details. From the placement of a hand; strands of hair blowing in the wind; the eye contact between the subjects; to the tiniest fingernails.

Roy and Lee began photographing Colorado back in the 70′s in the early days of their marriage. They have continued through the years using 35mm film SLRs and standard dark room equipment progressing to fully digital photography today. Their work can best be described as “Colorado Beside the Road” because it is truly where their work originates. Of course, long hikes, drives and slow ambles through familiar neighborhoods feed the creative process, as well. Their work is varied including macro, scenic, and novel subjects. However, if they have a specialty it would be Colorado wild flowers.
