Being born & raised in Colorado, my desire to connect with nature and portray it in my art has been my passion. The beauty, wonder, and mystery of our natural environment truly inspires me.
I love the challenges and brilliant luminosity of watercolor and strive to use bright, sometimes unexpected, colors in my paintings. Sometimes I wish to convey an emotion through my use of color, sometimes I just want to make someone smile!
I have no formal art education other than taking classes and workshops along the way. I am finally gaining enough confidence to start showing my work by attending art shows and festivals.
I am hoping that my work will be a blessing to you and bring you a sense of joy and peacefulness.

Dwayne is originally from Georgia but after vacationing several times in Colorado, he loved the mountains, the sunshine and the culture and decided it was time to move out west. In 2002 Dwayne made Colorado his new home. Dwayne’s interest in photography started back when he was just twelve years old. His first camera was a Canon AE –1 that he spent months saving for and years trying to figure out how to use.
Chanone (pronounced Shannon) is a proud native of Colorado. Having grown up in such a scenic environment, her photographic curiosity was peaked after a class in high school. Chanone too started with a film camera and has an eye for capturing nature with a unique perspective. Black and white as well as macro are some of her favorite styles of photography.
