The Parker Chamber of Commerce wants to build a library of stock ‘Parker specific’ business images. They are building a list of shots they would like and would like to offer PAG member photographers an opportunity to submit images for their library. These may be images you already have, in addition to images that the C of C wants to stage for specific purposes. They can, of course, purchase stock photographs for $1 - $50, but they want to create a greater feel using images that capture Parker and the people they know and do business with.
Photographers will receive a “small stipend” per image, retain copyright and receive photo credit, while the Parker Chamber will have use of the images for Chamber purposes.
Interested photographers are asked to contact Lisa Maurer at 303.841.4268 for more information and to find out how to submit photos for consideration. This is open to both professional and amateur photographers.
Deadline for submission is Friday, October 31.

The Parker Chamber of Commerce has selected a watercolor painting of Grace Chapel by PAG Member artist Paul Valdez for their 2008 Christmas Puzzle Contest!
There are 16 pieces to the puzzle (image left). Puzzle pieces can be obtained by visiting participating Parker stores that have pieces. All you do is visit the businesses and ask for your piece.
A list of participating stores will be available on www.parkerchamber.com/puzzle-info.cfm? in early November. The list will give you the number of the missing piece/s that each business has. Once you have collected 15 of the 16 pieces, you can go to the Parker C of C office (Parker Station Building) to collect the final piece and win a collectible. limited edition, fine porcelain ornament.
The contest will begin in mid-November and run until December 20, subject to availability of puzzle pieces. You can redeem your pieces and collect your final piece through January 15.
Congratulations Paul Valdez!
