Coming Soon: Goodnight Moon
Schoolhouse Gallery

Registration open now https://givebutter.com/KQRrZA

The Parker Artists Guild has been asked to incorporate art that complements the display:

Goodnight Moon – A Fiber Tale.

This is a captivating, life-sized fiber diorama based on the beloved children’s story that has been read by millions and cherished by families for generations.

A decade in the making and a year in meticulous production, local artists Emilie Odeile and Ken Chapin mark the 75th anniversary of this timeless classic by bringing it to life in a truly novel way. Drawing from the enchanting work of Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd, the artists weave millions of stitches and miles of yarn to transform the story’s familiar illustrations into a richly textured, three-dimensional experience.

Please submit pieces that evoke themes of warmth, caring, family love, comfort, and tranquility. Artwork may also incorporate imagery of the moon, stars, and night scenes to create a peaceful and soothing atmosphere.

All mediums and techniques are eligible. Artists of all levels, from amateur to professional are welcome. There is no size limit, provided the finished piece can be hung for display. This exhibition will be viewed by all ages, and submissions should foster feelings of peace and comfort. We encourage artists to create works that bring a sense of calm and connection to viewers, capturing the serene moments evoked by "Goodnight Moon."
