Are you ready to let loose and go wild? Whether you’re all about wild or crazy animals, jaw-dropping wild landscapes, wild feelings bursting out in colorful abstract, or people doing wild and crazy things, the Call of the Wild art show wants to see your wildest creations!

We invite PAG artists to share anything untamed, untethered, and unpredictable. Show us your version of wildness - raw nature, bold adventures, or wacky bursts of creativity. Keep it fun and free-spirited, but remember, this show is for all ages, so no over-the-top wildness, please!

Grab your brushes, cameras, chainsaws, or whatever you use to make magic, and dive into the wild side. Answer the call and let your art roar, howl, dance, skip or trip its way into the wild world!

Show Dates: Saturday, May 30, through Saturday, August 8, 2026

Entry Fee: $25.00 for up to 3 images. Open to PAG members only.

Notification of Acceptance: Tuesday, May 26, from the email address: 3RockTheArts@gmail.com. Notification will include final forms. Please send an email to 3RockTheArts@gmail.com if you have not heard “yes” or “no” by Tuesday at 7 pm.

Drop off Date/Time: Saturday, May 30, 8:00–9:30am

“Meet the Artists” Reception: Date/Time: Thursday, July 30, 6:30-8:00pm. Attendees can explore the collection up close and celebrate these shared themes of love and happiness in an inspiring community setting. The reception is free and open to the public. Bring your friends & family.

People’s Choice Voting: May 30 through July 30.

Pick Up Date/Time: Saturday, August 8, 8:30-10:00am

Mediums allowed: Open to Parker Artists Guild Members working in any of the following mediums: drawing, painting (oil, watercolor, acrylic, etc.), photography (digital or film), and sculpture (any material). Artwork must be created by the artist (no paint-by-numbers, copied artwork, etc.). Fine Art and Giclee Prints will be accepted for this show.

PAG Members of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Preparing Artwork:

All 2-dimensional entries should be matted, framed, and/or ready to hang with D-Rings and secure wire on the back. No sawtooth hangers, eye hooks or wall-mounted pieces will be accepted. (The Schoolhouse uses a gallery hanging system that will not accommodate anything other than secure wire.) 2-D artwork may not weigh more than 25 pounds.

Although there are no specific size limitations, PAG reserves the right to exclude large work that we are unable to hang properly, or if the number of artists entering is too great to include large work without excluding deserving artists.

All 3-dimensional entries must be no more than 12” wide, 12” deep, 24” high, and weigh no more than 75 pounds.

Price Limitation: Artists must determine their own prices. The Town of Parker generously insures our work up to $1,000.00 while hanging in the Schoolhouse Gallery. (The insurance price should not exceed the asking price.)

This is a Juried Show: Artwork will be accepted into the show on the basis of the artwork you have submitted online as a JPEG image. Selections will be based on technical skill, and overall artistic merit.

Submission Entries: Maximum of 3 entries, with the possibility of one, two, or all three works accepted for each artist. Submissions must include high-resolution images (for paintings and photographs) or photographs of sculptures, along with titles, medium, dimensions and asking price. All Artwork must be for sale.

Ineligible Artwork: Artwork that is “ not for sale”, artwork deemed inappropriate for viewing by all age groups, or that we are not able to hang properly may be rejected at take-in. The Schoolhouse and Parker Artists Guild reserve the right to refuse any artwork.

Substitution: Artwork will be displayed from May 30 through August 8, 2026. Artwork may not be removed before the end of the show on August 8.

Venue Commission: 15% to the Town of Parker.

Get ready to Think BIG (literally) at The Schoolhouse Gallery!

We invite all PAG members to submit their larger-sized artwork for an engaging and fun exhibition at the Schoolhouse Gallery that’s all about going big and bold with creativity. If you’ve ever wished your art could take up the whole room—or maybe just a really big wall—this is your moment.

For this show, there are no size limitations, within, of course, our ability to hang your artwork properly. The gallery has to be able to safely hang your masterpiece without it launching into the stratosphere. Teeny-tiny pieces are also acceptable, as long as they have a big personality.

Mark your calendars for the “Meet the Artists” reception on Thursday, May 14, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. It’s the perfect time to mingle, ask the artists why their piece is so huge, or just enjoy some good conversation and maybe a snack or two. This is a golden opportunity to show off your work in a cool local spot, connect with fellow creatives, and maybe even make your parents, spouse, and kids finally understand why that room in the basement looks like a used art store.
