Get ready to Think BIG (literally) at The Schoolhouse Gallery!

We invite all PAG members to submit their larger-sized artwork for an engaging and fun exhibition at the Schoolhouse Gallery that’s all about going big, bold, and a little bit wild with creativity. If you’ve ever wished your art could take up the whole room—or maybe just a really big wall—this is your moment.

For this show, there are no size limitations, within, of course, our ability to hang your artwork properly. The gallery has to be able to safely hang your masterpiece without it launching into the stratosphere. Teeny-tiny pieces are also acceptable, as long as they have a big personality.

Mark your calendars for the “Meet the Artists” reception on Thursday, May 14, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. It’s the perfect time to mingle, ask the artists why their piece is so huge, or just enjoy some good conversation and maybe a snack or two. This is a golden opportunity to show off your work in a cool local spot, connect with fellow creatives, and maybe even make your parents, spouse, and kids finally understand why that room in the basement looks like a used art store.

Tucked In

(In conjunction with "Goodnight Moon - A Fiber Tale")

Schoolhouse Gallery
19650 E. Mainstreet, Parker, Colorado 80138

Registration is closed.

The Parker Artists Guild has been asked to incorporate art that complements the display:

"Goodnight Moon – A Fiber Tale"

This is a captivating, life-sized fiber diorama based on the beloved children’s story that has been read by millions and cherished by families for generations.

A decade in the making and a year in meticulous production, local artists Emilie Odeile and Ken Chapin mark the 75th anniversary of this timeless classic by bringing it to life in a truly novel way. Drawing from the enchanting work of Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd, the artists weave millions of stitches and miles of yarn to transform the story’s familiar illustrations into a richly textured, three-dimensional experience.

Please submit pieces that evoke themes of warmth, caring, family love, comfort, and tranquility. Artwork may also incorporate imagery of the moon, stars, and day or night scenes to create a peaceful and soothing atmosphere.

All mediums and techniques are eligible. Artists of all levels, from amateur to professional, are welcome. There is no size limit, provided the finished piece can be hung for display. This exhibition will be viewed by all ages, and submissions should foster feelings of peace and comfort. We encourage artists to create works that bring a sense of calm and connection to viewers, capturing the serene moments evoked by "Goodnight Moon."

If your work inspires and uplifts patients, visitors, and the community, we welcome your submission for review.
