Volunteer at PAG
PAG is a community built on shared passion for art, and one of the best ways to deepen that connection is through volunteering. Standard PAG membership includes a volunteer requirement of 4 hours per year, and there are plenty of ways to fulfill it that are genuinely enjoyable. This page is the best place to find opportunities that fit your schedule.
CRITICAL NEED Art in the Park Deputy Manager
2 positions available
August 28 (setup) + August 29-30 (event days)
This one's three full days, but you'd be working directly alongside our Event Manager and you won't be figuring anything out alone. There's a short training beforehand so you know exactly what to expect. If full availability isn't possible, reach out anyway and we can break this role into shifts.
What you'll actually do:
Attend a brief training session before the event so you know exactly what to expect
For Setup (August 28th)
Help artists locate their assigned tent spots
Guide unloading and setup
Make sure signage is in place
Walk the site to confirm everything is ready before the festival opens
During the Event (August 29 and 30)
Work alongside the Event Manager to keep things running smoothly
Answer questions from artists and the public
Monitor for any issues, alert the right people for anything that comes up

Fika Coffee House Art Exchange Coordinator
About 5 to 6 hours, once every 3 months
The Fika Art Exchange displays member artwork at Fika Coffee House (19559 E. Mainstreet) and rotates quarterly. You'll manage the logistics each cycle, and once you've done it once, the next rounds are easy. Upcoming dates: July 16 and October 15, both at noon.
What you'll actually do each quarter:
Set the exchange date with Fika
Send a call-for-art to PAG members about a week out (this can be automated)
Follow up with participating artists the week before via email
Collect required paperwork from artists
Help coordinate the artwork hanging on exchange day

Newsletter Coordinator
About 30 minutes to 1 hour per month, fully remote
The PAG newsletter goes out monthly, and this role is all about keeping the content side organized so our Publisher can do their thing. You'll collect submissions from board and committee members, give them a quick check against our style guide, and forward everything in an organized format. That's it. The Publisher handles layout and distribution. If you're comfortable with email and can copy and paste between documents, you're qualified.
What you'll actually do:
Send reminders to section contributors and collect their submissions
Review content for style guide compliance
Put everything into a single organized document and forward to the Publisher

ART IN THE PARK VOLUNTEER FORM
PAG Secretary
About 3 hours per month, can be remote
You'll attend one board meeting per month and do a quick review of the auto-transcribed minutes for accuracy. No note-taking, no typing up notes from scratch, just a read-through to make sure everything looks right. Beyond that, you'll help with the occasional piece of correspondence and participate in board discussions that shape PAG's programs and direction. Meetings are in person, but video call attendance is fine too.
What you'll actually do:
Attend the monthly Board of Directors meeting (typically 1.5 to 2 hours)
Review and approve the auto-transcribed minutes
Help with correspondence as needed
