New Member Resources
Welcome to PAG! We're glad you have joined us. This page will give you a little more information to help you jump right in and join the fun.
How do I figure out what's going on?
Typically member meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. You can see our calendar on the Member Events page. Subscribe to our calendar to stay up-to-date on what's going on.
Sometimes new members are nervous about attending their first meeting. If you're feeling hesitant, feel free to check out our Meet Our Members page where you can get to know some members. Come say hi to any of us and we'll make sure you feel welcome. If you're still feeling shy, please use the contact form at the end of this page to let us know and someone will reach out to you to figure out a plan to help you feel more comfortable.
You can also check us out on Facebook where you can find tons of information about everything happening at PAG.
What are member meetings like?
Typically member meetings take place at The Schoolhouse and will have announcements about current and upcoming shows, events, and opportunities and then have some kind of guest speaker. You can see meeting notes from previous meetings on our Member Meeting Notes page. When you come to your first meeting, come say hi to any board member or member at large and we would be happy to introduce you to other members and help you settle in.
Where do I get the newsletter?
The newsletter goes out once a month (usually the 2nd week of the month) and comes from info@parkerartistsguild.com so make sure you have that email address saved to your contacts so it doesn't get snagged by spam filters. If you want to catch up on past issues, check them out on our Newsletters page.
What shows can I apply for?
One of the focuses of PAG is creating opportunities for our members to show their art in the community. Check out our Calls for Entry page to see the most current open calls for art. Go ahead and apply even if you're not sure if you're ready, there's no time like the present to get started!
I've seen art displayed in local businesses, how does that work?
Another big PAG member perk is the ability to showcase (and sell!) your art in local businesses. Check out our Art Shows and Venues page to find out where these are and when the next exchanges will be.
